Regenerative Agriculture
Regenerative Agriculture is hard to define as there are so many different aspects to it however the five basic principles are listed below. Fundamentally it is just good farming practise however with modern technology and research it has reached far and beyond what our forefathers would recognise.
The principle driver is soil health and we have been championing what we do to our soils here for nearly twenty years. It started as a way of bolstering yields but has lead to a wholesale change in farming practise that is not only preserving but actually enhancing our soils. This has lead to more resilience in our soils and has moved our budgeting from 7.5t/ha to 8.5t/ha for wheat as the benefits of what we have done shine through the variable weather that we are seeing now.
